Reflections Summer/Fall 2010

We give God Thanks and Praise for the lives that were saved and those filled with the Holy Spirit this year through PHR ministry as well as those that were healed! December 2010 Sorry for the lack of information. I have been unable to keep up with the testimonies. However here is one I remember: A young woman came in with her mother to receive prayer for a 5 year old boy. He had seizures every day of his life and sometimes as many as 25 a day. It was hard to travel anywhere or do anything because of his problem. Her mother had suggested Portland Healing Rooms several years ago and she thought that the problem was a medical problem not a spiritual problem and that extra prayer was not needed. She tried everything she could to get her son help including a special diet. All to no avail. Increasingly difficult life altering problems from the continual severe needs of their child was causing their lives to begin to disintegrate and their marriage got more rocky with the increased stress. She began to hear more about healing and read to gain understanding. That began the process in her thinking that maybe they needed more prayer than she was able to do on her own. That’s when she came with her mother and son. The young child was dramatically healed and set free. She shared on the way out and after talking with her I learned that her husband was of asian descent. I asked if there was Buddhism or other influence in their background, and learned he had converted from Buddhism before they were married. I suggested to secure the healing that the father come in and receive prayer. Her husband came and received prayer also and received dramatic release and freedom in his life. The whole atmosphere of their family and home was changed. The child was immediately free of all seizures. A month later they took him to his doctor to get his routine EKG and he had been seizure free. The doctor was ASTOUNDED and said, “I don’t know what to tell you! There is no damage!” She told him she didn’t know what to tell him either, but that her son was prayed for and is healed. Thank you Jesus, our wonderful Lord and healer! Another outstanding miracle occurred this fall when a man that heard the story from the lady above about her son. He came in with an incurable cancer and was healed. He was a medical professional. He received a doctors release that his cancer is gone after prayer at Portland Healing Rooms. Another outstanding miracle occurred this fall when another man came for prayer about Non Hodkins Lymphoma cancer. “Large B-cell”. He had cancer in the lungs and prostrate and was having difficulty breathing and couldn’t sleep because of the severe coughing. His lungs were filling up with blood. After prayer at the Portland Healing Rooms the doctor did his normal MRI and blood tests and said he had no more trace of cancer that could be found. Praise you Lord Jesus, Healing is easy because we aren’t the ones doing it. Jesus is the healer. After prayer and a word of knowledge for a woman to conceive she is pregnant. After prayer for a child with autism we received report that his symptoms are “greatly improved”
